Again this year, employees from our Rouyn-Noranda centre played a big role in supporting the 20th annual telethon of La Ressource pour personnes handicapées de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue/Nord-du-Québec. This year, a record number of 46 employees, volunteers and guests solicited donations between 12 pm and 6:30 pm. In total, $8,292 was collected. Prizes, snacks, donuts and coffee and a pizza dinner were offered to support our volunteer team throughout the day. A big congratulation to our three champion collectors of the day:

Leila Aloui: $1,150
Sylvie Pharand: $950
Bachir Lanez: $550

All in all, La Ressource raised over $503,158 to support its work. Many celebrities participated in the event and some even dropped by to encourage the Nordia volunteers.
