Nordia at Canada's Most Admired Corporate Culture Gala

A few weeks ago, Nordia took part in Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures Gala hosted by Waterstone Human Capital, to receive this prestigious trophy that recognizes best-in-class organizations across Canada that stand out for their outstanding corporate culture. We are extremely proud to win this national award for the second time in a row.

At Nordia, our focus has always been on our people. Thank you to all our employees for contributing day after day in making Nordia a great place to work!

Nordia to acquire Quantrics Enterprises

Nordia has reached an agreement in principle to acquire Quantrics Enterprises Inc., a fast-growing business process outsourcing company located in the Philippines. The acquisition marks the beginning of another new chapter in Nordia’s exciting growth story. The combination of Quantrics and Nordia, with over 11,000 employees, will provide both companies with additional capabilities, capacity and service offerings as well as leveraging the shared expertise and experience in each organization.

While Quantrics and Nordia will continue to operate as separate entities, this deal provides Nordia with an international base on which to expand its business, in particular in the North American market. This will provide greater opportunities for employees in both companies, as well as strengthening and diversifying Nordia’s customer base.

To our friends at Quantrics, we say “Maligayang pagdating sa pamilya Nordia” (Welcome to the Nordia family!)

#BellLetsTalk - A thematic week to promote dialogue around mental health

As part of Bell Let’s Talk day, Nordia employees participated in a thematic week of activities in an effort to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Thanks to their generous contributions, over $3,105 was raised in support of Kids Help Phone, a proud partner of the Bell Let’s Talk Community Fund.

In addition to promoting the benefits of discussing and utilizing available professional resources by sharing their testimonials, around sixty employees took part in the #SelfCareChallenge, placing their well-being first every day. As the effects of the pandemic continue to mount, it’s important to take care of our mental health by undertaking simple self-care actions daily.

Thank you all for participating! Once again, Nordia employees have shown their generosity, openness, and commitment to improving their health and helping the community!

Employees have spoken: 86% recommend Nordia!

At Nordia, our people are at the heart of our priorities, and it is essential for us to regularly monitor their satisfaction to optimize our employees’ work experience constantly. We are incredibly proud to announce that based on our 2021 survey results, 86% of our employees recommend us to their family and friends! Fun fact: this is the 8th consecutive year that the results exceed 80%!

The annual employee survey showed, once again, that the most important perks of working at Nordia are the support, the people, the work environment, and the benefits. Receiving this kind of approval from employees is both gratifying and inspiring. In addition to our recent nomination as one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures by Waterstone Human Capital for a second time in a row, these endorsements definitely confirm our position as an industry leader.

Thank you all for making Nordia a great place to work!

Nordia recognized as one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures for the second time in a row!

For a second time in a row, Nordia has been selected as one of Canada’s Most Admired corporate cultures in 2021. This prestigious award, presented by Waterstone Human Capital, recognizes best-in-class organizations across Canada for nurturing corporate cultures that enhance performance and help sustain a competitive advantage.

What is our strategic advantage? Our people! We are proud of the amazing culture and values we cultivate that ultimately help us attract, develop and retain top talent and drive performance and growth.

Being recognized with this national award is always a great honour, but this year’s distinction is even more remarkable given the enormous changes we have undergone in the past 20 months in dealing with the challenges of the pandemic and reinventing ourselves to adapt to virtual work environments.

‘’Winning this honour again in 2021 testifies to the strength of our people-focused culture, which is the foundation of our business model and the secret to our success in the very challenging and competitive customer service industry.’’, said John DiNardo, president and CEO of Nordia.

Thank you, Nordia team, for your effort and dedication. We will continue to build on this achievement to make Nordia an even better place to work and grow.

$40,000 donated to United Way Canada

Our 5th annual employee donation campaign in support of United Way Canada helped raise the impressive sum of $36,218. To this amount, Nordia has increased its contribution to bring the total to $40,000! This sum will directly support 5,863 local community programs helping kids’ academic success, moving people out of poverty, and building strong, healthy communities.

Both locally and nationally, Nordia employees have once again made a real difference in the communities where we operate. We take great pride in helping our community’s most vulnerable people meet their basic needs and giving our children the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Nordia donates $5,000 to Breakfast Club of Canada

For the start of the school year, the third edition of the #NordiaGivesBack campaign helped raise $5,000, benefiting Breakfast Club of Canada. This sum will help provide 2 500 nutritious breakfasts to children in all the communities where we operate.

Research proves it; a seemingly small gesture, such as a healthy breakfast, positively impacts children, families, schools, and communities. The impact is colossal! Once again, Nordia employees proved that helping our community is in our DNA and values. We are very proud to offer our children the energy to learn and an equal chance at success, one breakfast at a time.

Thank you all for your generosity!
